Fees and Insurance


Insurance: 

I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield (with the exception of Blue Home ) and Aetna. If you have Blue Cross Blue Shield or Aetna insurance, I will file claims for our session with your insurance and you will be responsible for the copay, coinsurance, or deductible. 

Please contact me for my current out-of-pocket rate if you do not have Blue Cross Blue Shield or Aetna. Clients paying out of pocket are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate for therapy services before we begin meeting.

Payment Information:

All copays/ charges are due on the date of service. I can accept credit or debit cards (including HSA/ FSA cards).

Checking mental health benefits:

I encourage you to talk with your insurance provider before we meet to make sure you understand your mental health benefits and know what to expect in terms of cost. 

A few questions you might consider asking, include: 

  1. Is the provider I want to see in network? (Always good to confirm with insurance!)
  2. What is my coverage for outpatient mental health visits?
  3. What costs will I be responsible for in an outpatient behavioral health visit with an in network provider? 
  4.  Do I need to meet a deductible before my coverage begins?

 

Cancellations/ No shows:

There is an $50 fee if you don’t attend a scheduled appointment or if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance. I like everyone to know this up front so there aren’t any surprises!
